Can Money Buy Happiness?

范文：

Money does play an indispensable role in human life, study, and work. It is money that stimulates the business, industry, and bank to develop. From a certain point of view, money is the soul of human economy. But is it the source of happiness, which almost people from all trades have been seeking? The answer can be yes. Reasons are simple. One is that money can be used to buy whatever materials they want. The other is that without money it is so frequent that the poor people are troubled by sadness, troubles, tribulations, envy, revenge, disease, and disasters as well.

But the story is not so simple. More insightful analysis reveals the other side of the issue: money can ruin the haves. This is rather ironical. It is not uncommon that the rich people also commit various crimes. Such cases inevitably lead people to consider money the warm bed of sins and crimes.

Although both opinions stand on their own basis, I hold (that) they are two extremes in the spectrum. Money as the instruments or means of transactions is the vital economic element. Human spiritual status quo has little, if any, to do with money. Money makes people healthy, wealthy, and wiser. In no case can people attribute crimes or evils to money.

Advantage of a Job Interview

The process of employment consists of a variety of steps. An important one among them is the interview. In fact it is mainly the interview that helps the candidates and the corporations understand each other.

On the one hand interview benefits the applicants or job candidates in that through interview they can obtain some of the key information. For instance, interviewers generally introduce to the interviewees the basic situations of the corporation such as the salary, work condition, and the feature of the job. Without such an important step of interview, hardly can the applicants obtain this information.

Not only can the interview benefit the candidates by providing information but also can it contribute to them an opportunity to show themselves to the interviewer. For example, they impress the company by their language ability, social communications skills, and the ways they think and do. In one word, interview is important and useful in employment.

Since their coming into being, automobiles have been significantly contributing to human industries, agricultures, and even the daily lives.

It is automobiles that have been shaping and reflecting the ways humans work and think. They accelerate the sustainable economic development. They boost industries. They also catalyze scientific research.

But nobody can deny that automobiles have also exerted some unfavorable impacts on social and economic fabric. First of all, they have seriously polluted the environment in which humans survive. Secondly, traffic jam wastes lots of time. Finally, they also waste the money, especially in metropolis.

My opinion is that in the foreseeable future, scientists will be able to solve all problems. Exactly, human will eventually be able to minimize the harmful effects of automobiles, whereas their advantages can be maximized.

Animals are essential in an ecosystem. But for various reasons the number of animals decreases to an alarming degree. All over the world, biological diversity has already become a key environmental issue.

Scientists from many fields generally attribute this phenomenon to three reasons. To begin with, human activities reduce the number of animals. For instance, the living areas of human beings enlarge gradually while the areas for animals shrink. As a result, animals die out. Next, natural evolutions also make some animals extinct. Moreover, some diseases among animals also cut the population of animals.

How to address this issue? Two approaches have been suggested. One is that humans should protect some rare animals. The other is that human must provide animals with a sound environment for them to survive and thrive.

Numbers, in my opinion, have little to do with good luck. “Good luck” can be defined as something that is beyond the power of human control. That is to say, good luck can never be predicted by any human elements including the numbers. In fact, some so called “luck number” has brought people many disasters. For instance, in many people’s mind, the number “918” symbolizes good luck. However, it is a disaster to the majority of Chinese as far as history is concerned.

Interview plays a vital role in helping a candidate settle the employment. In fact through interview, the candidates and the interviewers can understand each other. For instance, during a job interview, the job seekers can well understand the work condition, the job requirement, and the salary as well.

But how can one achieve the success in interview? The success depends on a variety of factors. First, the language, posture, and gesture are the most dominant elements. The words one chooses, the pitch, and the intonation one employs in communication reveal most important information to the interviewers. Second, the academic background, work experience, and even the appearance of the job candidate exert impacts on the outcome / result of interview. Finally, the attitude and psychological behavior further influence the ultimate consequence of the interview. In fact, whether or not a person can be successful also relies on many other elements.

First let me introduce the plan in detail. The place I suggest you to visit is The Great Wall. The best time for visiting the Great Wall is not the weekends but on Monday. Why? The society has never been an ideal one in that every day the general public is actually flooded by deceptions and lies published on the Internet or on TV. For instance in the world of business, many authentic products are mixed with the fake ones. Even in the academic field, cheating in examinations is not uncommon. A piece of evidence is that a governmental official let out the CET4 paper last year.

But as the moral and ethic tells, human beings should be honest in many cases. Because to be honest can benefit both sides of a business, honesty is emphasized by almost each religion in the long course of human civilization. Being honest is constructive to an individual because it stands for human virtue. In fact it is just this virtue that shapes/ buildes one’s success in life, works, and study. It also contributes to other people for human naturally hates being cheated. For example any dishonesty in academy deserves formidable punishment. Another example comes from the daily life between families. Suppose a wife or a husband cheats, to break might be the outcome.

Therefore I will do anything in the future with honesty. And I also advocate that all people be honest to others around them.

This happened between 10:05 and 10:08 pm. last Sunday, December 05, 2004 at Chehuo Road, Happier District.

Both cars were seriously destroyed. One car is Honda, made in Japan. The other’s brand is unknown to me, but it is made in ChangAn, China. The front part of the Japanese car was alarmingly devastated. And two Japanese died immediately with blood everywhere. Surprisingly some blood was black in color. But the Chinese car was almost perfect in condition. And no any Chinese was injured.

The root reason, as I saw, is nothing but that Japanese did not obey the traffic rules. They were able to see the red light unless they were blind. But I did not know why they still drive when they saw the red light. Thus the accident happened.

I am a student from China but I will study at your university from Sep.3, 2006. My major is Management of Business Administration. Learning that an international student can either live on campus and off campus, I am writing to apply for the opportunity to live on campus. The reason is that I am not able to drive. Living off campus must be a great trouble to me. Another reason is that I am afraid that I will not be able to afford the extra money used for living off campus.

It must be a disadvantage for me to live off campus. The negative effects are many. One is that I might encounter some cultural conflicts if I live off campus with people from many different areas especially when some Japanese are there.
